Noon Walk, 85×95cm, 2026, oil on canvas

This July I did a painting residency at Tyrone Guthrie House at Annamakerrig. I had a cool stone studio in the old stables. Freeing the mind to try new work was energizing. The above painting is one of the pieces I had made previous sketches of. Having concentrated time and a calm mind allowed me to follow through with this piece, then plan for new work and fresh ideas.
